Here we are, with our 13/maybe only 12 players getting ready to start the game! I'm super excited to begin, can't wait  Based on the fact that his account was deleted, I'm gonna assume John was one of the people you mentioned that was a duplicate account. Sucks that he would do that but at least he did delete his account. Strategy wise, my goal is to float through the early game. I want to get a solid alliance of 2/3 people (right now it looks like Mike is the one I've connected with most) and make sure I have a few other people's trust as well. Until around week 4 or so, I don't want any HoH's and I only want PoV's if I'm a nom or there's a backdoor plan. The last thing I need is to become an early target and winning comps would just paint an early target on my back. Crossing my fingers that this works! |

Update: so maybe I was going crazy when I wrote that and though john quit. Anyway, me and mike formed an official alliance a few hours ago. It feels really nice that someone already has my back. Over the course of the next few days leading up to Sunday I want to form relationships and ideally alliances with most of the cast so that I'm not a nominee whoever wins the first hoh. I'm not afraid to win a veto if I'm on the block, but unless that happens I'm throwing the comps. And if I haven't talked to the hoh, you better bet I'm gonna run to their room and do whatever they want to stay alive. I'm not afraid to throw people under the bus if i have to to better position myself. The rat game is perfectly viable. It worked for Andy and Nicole so why can't it work for me?

I spent the last fifteen minutes sending a hello message to every player in the game. I thought it may as well be a good idea to talk to people and make them know I'm open to talk to them seeing as I want the majority of my game to be social. I don't want to lock myself down to anything too much too soon but I do have my alliance with Mike so best case scenario is him winning HoH and me having influence on the nominees. A couple people haven't been on in a while so I'll probably plan on targeting them if they don't show up. I also might want to win an early Veto or something that isn't too important so that the others know I do have a challenge capability without actually doing anything that puts me in dangers. Still don't want to win any HoH's though, that's too much blood too early. Leave that to Mike  |

So Luci is gunning hard for this HoH, and I want to give it to her honestly. I've been talking to her today, and she's pretty great. We both agreed we wanted to play this game honestly and it's better to do that with someone else who has the same mindset. I'm starting to try and map out my game right now, and having two people who have my back in Mile and Luci could be great as we get further in. Hopefully she wins this comp and an alliance like the 8 pack will form around it with me and Luci at the center. In a perfect world, Luci and mike become the two leaders of two sides of the house and I'm free to float between the two, but that could get me in trouble if I'm not careful. Plus, I really do want to keep my promise to Luci and not put her up if I'm ever given the chance. But let's just say, it may only be an hour into the game but big brother is in full swing!

Corey and I seem to have opposite standpoints on this game. He's the kind of person who thinks getting to third and being cut is a waste of time. I'm here to play, yes, but it's a game and the goal is to have fun. As far as I'm concerned, if I get to third and lose, I know in the future I need to either work on my social connections more or work on my physical game more. I'm not gonna get upset at myself or others and I'll still look back on the game just as well.

Gotta admit I was not expecting a vote... I honestly have no clue who it came from. My closest allies at the moment are Luci and Mike, and Mike told me he voted Luci. I guess she could have voted me but idk... and Mike's two votes scares me for real. I was under the impression that I was one of his only allies, plus he told me he wasn't campaigning... I wish I could talk to him. The moment the clock strikes 1 I'm messaging him. I want to get a group going, maybe start an alliance of him/me/Luci/Van (Van told me he had heard Mike's name come up for HoH) and possibly a fifth if we know who else voted him. I'm just hoping starting with a Chen disadvantage won't hurt me...

Ok being a have-not sucks. I can't talk to anyone, I can't buy stuff, and I'm already at a disadvantage in the future for chens. On the bright side, I know I don't need immunity because Luci swore not to put me up and I trust her. It still would be nice to have a care package though... ugh. Screw you whoever voted for me (not really still love you <3 but this sucks)

Nominations could've been a little better, but this isn't awful. I, like Luci, want Joe out of this house ASAP so him being up is perfect. However, Mike and I had plans to propose an alliance of us/Luci/Joner to Luci after noms. We might have to take Joner out of that plan with him being on the block, even if he is safe this week he would want Luci to veto him if we were aligned and that's not a good idea.

Since yesterday, just about everything has gone right for me. Me, Mike and Luci solidified ourselves as a trio yesterday (the all-girls alliance is what we call it even though Lucis the only girl lol) and then Luci won PoV, giving us all the power this week. Just now Mike and I split up and invited Sam and Bryson into the alliance (with Lucis consent of course) so we have a group of 5 who has a decent chance to win comps and enough votes to be almost a majority after this week. Also, our little game after PoV was great; it proved I'm no slacker in comps while not forcing me to use a power and get someone mad at me. The house should be set to evict Joe this week and after that I'm just hoping someone with me gets HoH. Even if they don't, I think I'm set to survive on anyone but a Corey and maybe Matt HoH.

(Me, Mike, Luci and Bryson named our alliance the Private Eyes, if you're wondering why this is themed)
INVESTIGATION: Joe has been gone for almost a month now. No one has heard a peep since he signed up. Something fishy is going on here...
CASE: Joe should be evicted for not playing the game. If he isn't here, it's not cool to make everyone else lose a possible vote for their alliance.

Week One DR Questions:
1. My two closest allies in this house are definitely Mike and Luci. If I had to choose just one, I would probably say Mike just because we had a Day 0 alliance before the game even officially started. Luci is definitely someone I trust as well though, and I'm glad that I feel both will stay loyal to me as long as I am loyal to them, which I intend to be until the end of the game.
2. The most important thing has to be the forming of the Private Eyes. We have in our group my two closest allies in Mike and Luci, one of which is also the only person to win a comp yet, plus Bryson who seems pretty cool and loyal just like us. My victory over Luci in the just-for-fun OTEV comp gets an honorable mention though.
3. Not really. I've only joined the Private Eyes as a group and then a few 1-on-1 deals with people like Van and Sam who I think I can trust for now. I don't regret anything in this game yet, definitely not an alliance.
4. At this point in the game, comp beast. There's certain people getting targeted by the house as a whole right now (Gabe and to a lesser extent Corey) so being strong in comps doesn't hold as much weight as if the house was divided firmly. It would be more of a reason to be evicted if you could swing a vote away from the target than just vetoing this early. As the game progresses my standpoint on that may change and I'd rather be seen as social though.
5. My biggest pet peeve is people who say things that are inherently hypocritical (which I'll admit I do sometimes and I hate myself for it lol). Like when someone complains in class about people who talk in class, that kind of stuff. Also people who tell me to do things to do things twice really get on my nerves. If I tell you I'll do it, I'll do it, don't bug me about it constantly!

What the literal fuck just happened... I have no clue why I came in last place. I thought I was on good relations with everyone in the house... I have no clue why at least two people would stack all of their votes against me. The goodness is that Van promised me that he wouldn't put me up if he won. If he lied to me I'll be pissed, but I think I'm fine for now

As expected, I'm still safe. I'm glad Van kept his word to keep me off the block and he even put up the same two people I would have if I was the HoH. I still can't forget that I was the last person to get my key though, so I'm definitely gonna fight for this veto to make sure noms stay the same and I don't go up as Van's replacement. Plus having a comp win under my belt wouldn't be an awful thing considering Luci already has two and it didn't make her a target in any way.

Ugh. I literally lost that comp by maybe thirty seconds. If I hadn't asked Bryson if he wanted the veto I likely would have been able to win and keep noms the same. Now that Gabe won I have a decent chance of going up as a replacement and I could actually go home in that vote... fml
