I've had a really eventful last two days and my plan has changed a million times but I think I've finally locked myself in a strong spot moving forward in this game. So my original noms were obviously Jake and Cody. My goal there was not to split them up because they're vets but because the bullet Club was a strong thing. However, I underestimated Derek's bond with them. They forced Derek to use a magnifying glass to figure out the HoH, so either his relationship or mine with them would be lost. I decided since his was stronger I would come clean. I was super apologetic to them and said my plan was to take out Van the whole time (which was always what I did kind of want, as I showed in my last dr.) According to Derek, they still trust me and want to work with me, which is what they told me as well. So I've decided to join this Vets+Me alliance for at least the next few weeks because I'm fully aware that they'll keep me safe for at least a little while. If/when I win HoH again, I'll think about backing out and putting Jake/Cody on the block again but it's not my plan as of right now.
I'm also 99% positive Van leaves against Jake as of right now. Derek and Cody will both save their vet ally, Gabe hates Van, and apparently the care package means James can't vote. That means at worst it's 3-3 and I evict Van. But even that assumes I can't get Bryson on my side, which I probably can... unless he's still super antivet. Either way we should be fine

I'm a little scared that the Privates may have just ended... Bryson is pissed that Jake stayed even though Derek and I both made it clear that he was our target. If he's mad enough he could go rogue and join up with the other side of the house. That would make it an almost evenly divided house of Me/Jake/Cody/Derek versus Bryson/Joner/Matt/James with Gabe somewhere in the middle but leaning towards our side. The good news about that split is that we have by far the stronger comp players; all of us have won at least one (in our careers) while Matt is the only one who's won anything on their side. Downside is that I'm not competing in HoH. However, I shouldn't be anyone's target going into next week (Jake/Cody targeted by the other side), plus if my math is right everyone evicted past this point should be a juror (unless there's a weird five person jury... or the best twist in the history of twists, AMERICA'S VOTE!!!!... seriously tho pls no). So I've secured my spot in the second phase of the game and now I just have to make sure I'm not the primary target of anyone and I'm set to go deep. I think I really recovered from an awful week three, so it's nice to have that glimmer of hope

So I know Cody is HoH this week, and noms went exactly as I hoped they would in that situation. James is the target this week, and as long as he doesn't win veto that should happen. And on the topic of veto, I wish I was playing this week so bad! Lol. I literally am 90% confident on 6/8 questions and it would be really nice to win another comp

Last week was basically perfect. I didn't write a new DR because it basically went as planned. Joner won the veto which wasn't important, Matt went up as a pawn and James got evicted with his likely sole vote to save being Joner. Yay Privates, we got another week of safety!
This week looked like it should be fine also. Derek won HoH and it seemed as if all three Privates could make it another week without going on the block (the only three left in the game with that status, by the way). However, Jake somehow got ahold of our plan to put up Bullet Club and is buying immunity this week. Now, the plan is to put up Joner/Matt to make Cody feel comfortable since those were his nominees, and backdoor Cody since that guarantees at least a 4/6 shot at Veto. Hopefully one of those two leaves before the DE or else the Privates could be in real trouble

Perfect That gives us me, Derek, Gabe and Matt all playing to use the veto. Hopefully the other two players are Joner and Bryson and we can guarantee Cody gets backdoored

Ok. First off, I want to say I'm sorry I didn't do the Chen comp. I really hate making zings, and I always feel really bad about them afterward, and my decision to not do that was completely emotional. Is that a stupid reason? Well yes it is, I'm not even gonna argue that. But that's my reason if you're curious.
Anyway, game wise, this week sucked. You'd think my closest ally winning HoH would help... but Jake bought safety so we were forced to put up Matt/Gabe and then we all lost veto. I don't know who out of Jake/Cody won, but it has the same effect either way. Our backdoor plan couldn't be put into place and we have to send home someone we could've had on our side. This isn't what I wanted to do, I would've loved to have Matt around a lot longer, but I am voting to evict him. Actually now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure bullet Club will vote Gabe, meaning Joner is the swing vote. Hopefully he sticks with us or this problem may be bigger than we though it was

I need to stop playing these games. I can't handle it. I have Jake yelling at me in one ear, calling me a backstabbing traitor who's lost his trust and friendship. I have Cody in the other, telling me he's hated me from the moment I put him up the first time. And I have Derek throughout the whole thing only caring that I'm still loyal to him. Im so fucking done. I can't take this. I honestly cared about all three of them, and because of this one game move, two of them hate me and will likely never talk to me again. how do you guys do this so much....
I'll make a dr about my game either later or tomorrow. I'm literally crying right now so I don't think a well thought out response is gonna happen. Good night to anyone reading this. I hope it's better than mine.

Cody declined to give anyone Chens so you got 15 for being the HOH who evicted him.

How many do they normally give out? 15? Sorry, I can't find it in the rules anywhere lol. I know it's there somewhere, I remember reading it, I must just be blind

There's something funny about Jake being partnered with Derek for the challenges after saying they would never talk again... Anyway, my long-overdue gameplay DR. It all started about thirty minutes before the DE. Matt must've finally caught wind he was leaving, because he made a group chat of him, me, Joner and Bryson (all the non-Gabe newbies) saying if we voted out Gabe he would do everything in his power to target the vets. Bryson then told this to Derek and said he wanted to switch his vote and Derek got pissed since he's a vet too and Joner/Matt could still target him with that deal. That's where my confused "wait can I switch my vote" came in. I ultimately think I did make the right decision and we told Bryson to just stick with matt. Then the double happened and all hell broke loose... The comp already scared me because Derek had assured us Cody would be busy and wouldn't show up. Not true. I considered throwing the HoH to Derek in the final two of that comp, but decided against it in case Jake bought immunity again. For his sake, I'm happy I made that decision. My noms were bittersweet. One the one hand, the Privates have been planning to make these exact noms since the day the DE was officially announced, so I was glad I could win and do it. On the other, it was the first time in this game I've had to break a promise, and for that promise to be toward two people I legitimately cared about and called friends, it hurt. I lost both of their friendship last night, and it hurt. Bad. Jake was super condescending to me in the time between noms and veto, saying things like "Did you want to wake me up? I never enjoy being woken up." I mean, I expected it, but it's one thing to read him saying similar things to Jacob in S9 and another to have him say it to you live and in person. Jake wins veto. Not unexpected, part of the reason I put them up is them being comp threats. Joner was the renom because we'd like never talked and he was already suspicious of me for evicting Matt, so it was the best course of action. Also worth mentioning here, I think Jake thinks I'm a lot less aware than I am. He was like "I guess it's time you know, I haven't won anything yet. I can't say the same for Cody" when I know who won literally every comp. I'm here to play, not stand still and look pretty. I knew with Joner up I'd have the two private votes and Gabes if he showed up. He didn't and Jake used an extra vote. Not like it changed anything, Cody went home as planned, although it hurt even more to have to evict him personally than it did to put him on the block. And after that was the whole "I hated you from the minute you put me up" and "I lost two friends tonight" talk that I already covered. So considering the fact that I won HoH and got my target out, it was a pretty shitty night. And now I can't even talk to Derek, Jake or Gabe, three people I desperately need to talk to for my game to succeed. Ugh. Solitary sucks.

Also fun fact: I'm the only person in the house to have two HoHs, although I have yet to win a single veto. I also am one of three people who hasn't been nominated, those three being the Private Eyes, but I'm expecting Jake's nominations to be me and Derek so that's about to change.

Me going on the block was expected. Bryson shocked me and disappointed me because Derek being the Private not nominated is our worst chance at survival. For us to survive the week, we would need Derek to win the veto, which will be difficult seeing as he has a disadvantage from the auction. We had come to this realization about two hours before noms, hoping Jake wouldn't see the same thing. Obviously he did. I'm not surprised, Jake is a really smart guy, but it sucks to know that saving myself if I win veto will likely lead to Derek's eviction. However, I am pretty confident I'm staying this week no matter what. Against Bryson, there's been weird rumors of him targeting Joner so I have Joners vote to stay, and I've been reassuring Gabe I have his back so I should have his. Plus, Derek has been my number one ally since the start and I truly believe I'm his. So there's four possible outcomes of this week: 1. I win veto, Derek goes up, Derek is evicted 2. Bryson wins veto, Derek goes up, Derek is evicted 3. Derek wins veto, I come off, Gabe goes up, Gabe is evicted (as Privates then have 2/3 votes to evict) 4. Jake/Gabe/Joner win veto, I stay next to Bryson, Bryson is evicted
I think I should survive. A lot can happen in a week so I'm not gonna just stop playing and assume I'm safe, but I'm not gonna panic.
