Not going to lie. I thought Sphere 7 would stump more than 5. How did you get it so fast? Amanda was also playing along and she was right behind you and she also got it right away. I thought it was harder.

Well it took me a little bit but not too long. First I scanned through really fast (maybe took thirty seconds) and made sure you didn't insert frames with the password or something. When that didn't work, I translated the lyrics and realized the trick was that you wanted people to think "headache" if they did that, but they still went regardless of the headache. It was really just looking at it from a "trick question" point of view; if I hadn't known that I might've gotten stuck on headache like I did with 720 for sphere 5

I honestly considered leaving Veto unused and leaving myself on the block next to Bryson so I could save Derek. However, I don't want to pull a Marcellas and get evicted while doing that. I want to make sure Derek stays, but my own safety has to be my top priority. Derek was the obvious replacement, I would've been shocked if Jake had put up Gabe. Now, I have to vote to evict one of my Privates. It sucks. And although it sucks, I've been closer to Derek the whole time both gamewise and personally so I am intending on voting to evict Bryson this week. I'm still going to check in with Joner and Gabe and make sure they feel the same way though, otherwise I might vote with majority if they both evict Derek.
This deep into the game, everything is starting to hurt. My noms hurt, voting Cody out as a tiebreaker hurt, and I'm dreading casting my vote this week. It's a game, I know. Games shouldn't be this hard though. Not in this way at least.

There's been a murder of one of our very own investigators. After Luci's suicide, we thought for sure the detectives would never fall again. But there's only two of us left, and while the body is left unidentified as of now, it's believed to be that of Bryson. He died too young, some might say. Who would do such a thing, cry others. Well, it seems clear to me. Ever since that night a little over a week ago, where we found and assassinated the second-in-command of the Bullet Club gang, their leader Frato has been coming after us. This has to be his doing. I remember a time, not too long ago, when the Private Eyes and Bullet Club could work together in harmony. Frato was a dear friend of mine, someone I respected and honored. I wish things could still be like that. But he's killed Bryson, and there's two more bullets left in his gun for myself and Derek. He can't shoot me if I get to him first. Not if I can help it. This bullet club is gonna be left with a loaded gun in their hand.
(Honestly idk I felt in a storytelling mood and haven't done my theme DRs in a while so it felt right.)

Christian, you seem to have made a lot of important game moves. What are the moves that you are most proud of, and why?

Well, I've made a ton of moves I was proud of and regretted later. Examples: campaigning for Luci and extra voting her (she didn't even stay... honestly probably the worst move I made), evicting Cody (I'm still not sure that was worth the emotional toll it took on me), and vetoing myself (Derek is leaving and if I stayed on the block Bryson would be). I think the biggest move I really made that I'm still proud of is backdooring Van. It secured my safety on Codys HoH week five by rallying votes to save Jake (Cody claims he would've put me up if it was his choice. The thing is, he was HoH so it was his choice and he didn't.) and also got out someone who I knew would be against me (I extra voted Van. There's no way he'd work with me after week three)
Separate: Joner you idiot. It's so obvious the vets alliance is dead and he's voting Derek because he wants vets out. Ugh. He saved your ass during the DE and this is how you repay him? In the future, take a step back and look at what's going on before you make a move. It's not all the vets that are a problem, it's Jake in specific.

"I have to do what's best for my game" is that not keeping around the biggest shield in the game? Lol ok

I'm a little scared to have this HoH, honestly. On the one hand, I think I needed it. Voting in non-majority, even if I knew it was happening, sucks and also means I went against the wishes of literally all four of the other people left in the game. I kind of needed it to make sure Bryson knows I'm still with him and doesn't think I'll jump ship to Jake. On the other... I have to put up Jake for the third time. I've hated doing it twice, and while I feel more justified than ever putting him up today... I don't want him to think I hate him, you know? There was a whole week in there where I considered him and Cody closer allies than Bryson, and yet I've treated him like an enemy the whole time. He doesn't deserve to go up right now, but I need to put him up for game reasons. Jake has honestly played really well this game. He was the vet with the biggest target on his back and is still the last one standing. To be quite honest, I'm afraid of the fact that he's been to the end thrice. Some might say since he got second every time, he's not a threat and is the perfect goat. But thinking through our jury...
James won't care, probably votes Jake over anyone except Joner Matt won't care, probably votes Jake over anyone. Derek might be hurt, but would vote by gameplay and votes Jake over anyone but me or Bryson. Cody votes Jake no matter what.
And the other options...
Gabe was never affected by them but is kinda antivet, probably votes Bryson or Joner over Jake but not me. Joner votes anyone over Jake. Antivet Bryson votes me and maybe Joner over Jake And I honestly would probably only vote Bryson over Jake.
So out of the eight possible votes, he needs four to win and has a chance at 7. I'm not willing to play those odds. I think out of these five, Jake is the biggest threat to win. And honestly, I'm proud of the game I played but I doubt I win. I have at least two votes locked against me in Matt (lied to him as he left... it was unintentional but the damage was still done) and Cody (he's fucking pissed at me and I still don't even really understand why. Said my game was pissy and he'll never reward it though, so I doubt I'll get his vote under any circumstances). However, I also have a vote locked in Derek (my closest ally and friend here. Promised me his vote if I get to the end saying I deserve this win) and if he doesn't reach F2, Bryson (my other Private, second closest ally/friend here). That means I would need two of Jake, Joner, Gabe and James, with one of the first three ideally sitting next to me. If Joner is next to me then I lose James, so I would need both Gabe and Jake: not impossible but not likely either. If Jake is next to me... we covered that and I'm probably screwed 5-2. If Gabe is, though, I think I get every vote besides Cody. Even matt might consider that... I need to start getting Gabe on my side. My ideal F2 would be to be loyal to Bryson and get a Privates finale, but the one I'm most likely to win with is Gabe so in the event Bryson goes home I need him to be prepared to take me. I think I can do this though. I may not have ideal odds, but I'm not drawing dead yet. I have a chance... just not against the J's.

Ok so that's a little harsh, I'll admit that was a really rude thing to say. But I mean Gabe is by far the weakest player I would say out of anyone who made jury. To hear him call out Gabe on being a pussy who isn't a real game player... it sounds pretty hypocritical lol. Gabes shining achievements: Won one comp (to be fair, it was a comp he needed as he was on the block. That's a positive to his game) Has no one aligned with him obviously (Jake had his vets alliance, Joner had James, I had the privates, Gabe has no allies. The only reason he's still here is because he's everyone's goat who might get Victoria'd) Being never here. Literally no one counts on him to even get his vote in most of the time. Calling out Derek. What purpose did that even serve? Looks to me like he only lost any chance at Derek's vote he might've had at first. That's... kind of it. Not much of a resume to justify calling other people out on "not playing"

Gabe won a competition? I don't remember that. I'm lucky I remember who the current HOH is.

So it looks like this comp is really turning out to just be a bunch of waiting... I've done the damage I needed to. There's no way Jake comes out of this with a win at this point and any more subtracting from him just makes me more likely to burn whatever chance I might have at his jury vote (already unlikely. I nominated him on all three of my hohs). Joner only subtracted once, Gabe and Bryson never did. So yeah.
No offense to you guys, the comp could've been really interesting had the social dynamics of this house been different right now. But seeing as everyone wants Jake out it's kind of a "who is willing to be the one who constantly subtracts from Jake" challenge. So I stepped up. At least I can say I didn't try to hide my motives if I do get to the finals

Also fun fact after this week: next week is guaranteed to have an HoH who has never been before. There's only two of us in F5 with previous heads of household, those being myself and Jake. Assuming Jake is evicted this week, I can't play in the F4 HoH due to being outgoing and one of Joner, Gabe or Bryson will get their first HoH of the season. Just thought it was interesting

However, having the Covert Affairs twist prevented us from having this competition early on. The way the last few weeks of this game went down was unexpected, and this competition would have definitely been a lot more interesting if the two sides of the house were more competitive.
