Lived in Arizona until i was 6. Huge Diamondbacks, Cardinals, and Suns fan. Been living in Louisiana for the past 12 years so you know I rep my Saints! Your D-Backs just got my team's (the Red Sox) old GM...I wonder how he will clean up the disarray they have now. (It's beside the point but he gave an absolutely awful AMA on r/azdiamondbacks the other day) Thoughts on the Greinke signing and the Shelby Miller trade? Honestly, baseball is a sport that I haven't been invested in for the past few years. The last baseball season I was really into was 2011 when we got knocked out of the playoffs by the Brewers. But, from a very casual point of view, our front office has been terrible these past few years. Probably good for us that we are getting a bit of new scenery as far as FO goes.

My brother wanted me to post that. Something about Corey? Can you explain? This past NBA season, the Oklahoma City Thunder (who were led by Kevin Durant, their best player) blew a 3-1 series lead to the Golden State Warriors (a team that finished last season with the best regular season record in NBA history and already has a combination of three great players, most notably Steph Curry). Although the Warriors lost in the Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kevin Durant controversially left in free agency and signed with the already stacked Warriors. This shifts an unprecedented amount of power in the league to the Warriors, who will now be the odds-on favorites to crush all other 29 teams en route to the 2017 (and beyond) NBA championship. In regards to Corey, Thunder fans (and almost all non-Warriors fans) are upset about the move because losing Durant is huge for the Thunder and greatly diminishes their hopes of winning a championship in the near future is acting like a baby back bitch. All Durant wanted to do was be a super role player because leading a team was too hard and stressful. He would like to be a free butterfly in a world where he can achieve even if he is as irrelevant and wilt in the WCF. So it's a hot topic that still angers many people. Including greatly respected HOF players who believe in dying for glory and personal strength instead of living like a coward. EDIT: Also, the video you posted is a song by a rapper who notably had a 'fight' with Kevin Durant on Twitter and was an outspoken opponent of his (although his attitude has probably changed seeing as he's now on GS) Fixed!

This cubs thing must be huge. Mainstream media here never reports baseball news but it is getting a decent amount of coverage in the news. Also I think I lost a bet with my friend (a baseball fan). He bet that the cubs would win before dehydrated pizza would be invented (it happened when we were watching Back to the Future 2 a few years ago. Both the Cubs winning the World Series and dehydrated pizzas being references from the film). Let's hope he doesn't remember the bet.

It's huge. I go to college in central Illinois and grew up/went to HS north of Chicago so a majority of the people I've known throughout my lifetime are witnessing something they've never seen before. I'm not a Cubs fan (in case you couldn't tell by my avatar) and I wasn't necessarily rooting for them during the postseason, but it's pretty cool to see a lot of my good friends (who are as die-hard of Cubs fans as I am as a die-hard Boston fan) so happy over something they've been anticipating for a while.
