Before we start your first HOH competition, we need to institute another twist. Over the years, CBS has, coincidentally I’m sure, replicated some challenges and twists originally seen here. In a bout of revenge, this season we are stealing a twist from them and doing it better. House guests… Get ready for a takeover!!
That’s right. The takeover is back and making its ORG debut! Each week, a guest host will take over the game. They can be male or female, living or dead, real or fictional. The HOH and Veto competitions will be themed around them and they will also bring a small twist to the game called a takeover twist. Are you ready to meet your first Takeover host?
You know her for such catchphrases as “but first”. She’s married to Les Moonves, the CEO of CBS and she’s been hosting the CBS version of Big Brother since 2000. Put your hands together for the world’s most famous BLOOD: Julie Chen.
(FYI whenever the guest host is supposed to be speaking his or her dialogue will be typed in a different color besides black.)
Good evening, I’m Julie Chen and welcome to BBORG 10. Your first HOH Competition is called “But First” and here’s how it works. In homage to the first HOH competition of BB10, all 13 of you will vote for the first HOH of the season based on your first impressions of each other. I know this may be difficult given the fact you have known each other for so little time but this game will test your gut. Whichever house guest has the most votes will become the HOH for the week. A few rules:
1. You may not vote for yourself
2. In the event of a tie, we will revote among those tied for the most votes.
3. All votes are due by 7 pm EST on Monday
4. You will earn 5 Chens for each vote you receive.
5. The first and second runners up (if any) will become this week’s Have Nots.
6. Send your votes via private message to either Brett or Joe
