Boo! Anybody have any unusual phobias I can scare you with? Don't say anything but I hear one of your hosts is deathly afraid mannequins. Blah!

I'll tell you mine. I have a phobia of bees: I don't like getting stung by them. I am not allergic, but the pain from a bee sting is so severe for me that I about pass out each time it happens. I also have a phobia of anything related to the Devil/Satan. If I go to the store, and my total has 666, three sixes in a row, then I will either buy something else or I will put something back on the shelf. Also, if my car mileage has three sixes anywhere in the number of miles, I'll drive until the numbers aren't that way.

I'm a huge scaredycat of basically anything. Some of my most irrational fears include: Dogs that are bigger than a chihuahua. Being downtown. It doesn't even have to be dark and I could be with a group, still terrifies me. Making people mad at me. I'm the type of person that types up a huge paragraph to send to someone then deletes it because one word might make them mad. Heights. Doesn't matter how secure I am or even how far from the edge, if it's high I'm scared. The list goes on and on...

I do not like needles. AT. ALL. I'm an adult who cried while getting their shots for school. I refuse to get a flu shot even though I know it will help me from dealing with stuff. Believe me, I'll go get a shot if it's required and/or life saving. But I will cry and cry and cry before, during and after it.

Any kind of pointed objects typically scare the living day lights out of me. Needles, knifes, etc. Needles are the big ones though, something just doesn't seem right about them. There are also snakes. Snake send a shiver down my spine that isn't natural at all. Those things aren't natural, and how people have them as pets I'll never understand.

I can definitely understand everyone's concerns about needles. I was deathly afraid of them when I was a child. I somewhat grew out of it as I got older. I am always able to go to a calm place when I am going to get a tetanus or some blood work, so the pain isn't too severe, for me. But, I can prepare for the needle, which is why bee stings hurt worse for me. I'd rather get three shots than get stung by a bee, once, given the choice.
