In the past there has been some controversy surrounding the rules of the game so I thought it would be pertinent to lay some out here.
1. Evicted house guests are NOT allowed to communicate with remaining players. Evicted house guests will be allowed to talk about the current season, other shows and topics in a separate thread. If a juror is proven to communicate game-related material to remaining house guests, he or she will be removed from the jury and the next most recent nonjury player to be evicted will be promoted. Subsequent action may or not be taken regarding the player who received the information. It depends on the situation.
2. All host rulings are final after the competition unless a player can prove a mistake was made that would have effected the outcome of the competition. In such case, such proof should be presented as soon as possible. The hosts are human and make mistakes and can only check answers so fast.
3. Any player who does not vote cannot participate in the next HOH competition unless a host was informed beforehand. Also, any player who does not vote is a Have Not for the following week/round. Any player assigned to participate in a Veto competition and does not play will also become a Have Not the following week/round. Unless again, a host is informed beforehand that the player cannot participate or intends to throw the competition by simply not playing. Have Nots will be explained when the game begins.
4. Cheating is BLOOD. Do not do it. Given our situation as an ORG, it is difficult to prove cheating. Cheating in competitions (i.e. helping another player) is not per se, a rule break, as such behavior is sometimes allowed on the real show. We will not ban anyone because they cheated unless they are playing multiple accounts, in which case they will be expelled and banned from the board and subsequent ORGs.
5. Your Diary Room entries are locked by password. Do not give your password to anyone. Sometimes hosts will ask you questions here, however.
6. All house guests must answer the weekly questions that will be posted in the HOH Room. Failure to do so before the deadline will result in you becoming a Have Not.
7. Do not be a bully. Bullies will be expelled after they receive three strikes. Foul language and name calling is allowed but excessive low blows and other deplorable behavior is not allowed. Making a threat of bodily harm will result in an automatic expulsion.
8. All house guest should be here to play the game for themselves and not just casually check in from time to time.
9. By signing up to play, you agree to these rules.
10. You will have fun.
