This is a thread for discussing anything not related to the game.

Cool! I have a discussion question. What was everyone's best moment of 2016, so far?

I can understand that, Bryson. I think, ultimately, both Paul and Nicole were deserving of the money. I have different feelings about both of them winning or losing. I hope Paul comes back in a future season if they ever decide to do Big Brother All Stars 2.
Mine, so far, would probably be the vacation that I took this summer with my family. We went to Disney Land. Absolutely awesome.

Disneyland is awesome! One of my favorite memories is when I went with my school band in freshman year of high school. Glad to got to go with your family And I will defend Nicole's game until the day I die. When it comes down to it, she controlled votes when she needed too and stayed off of everyone's radar when she didn't have to. She got out the person leading the anti-vet crusade week 1 and his closest allies followed right after. She got outed as a rat week 5 and still kept herself off the block and left the target on Frank. She placed herself directly between Jatalie and the Ducks by evicting Meech, so that whichever of the pairs won the next HoH she and Corey would be safe. She convinced James that Corey was a bigger jury threat than her (probably not true) and Paul that James was a bigger jury threat than her (definitely not true). Did Paul play a good game? YES! Did Paul play a great game? I'd even venture to say yes to that too. However, Nicole's game was far from a bad one and definitely doesn't deserve to be considered a low-tier winner.

I think my favorite moment of the year so far was Friday at Lollapalooza. I got to the fest a lot later than I meant to but seeing Foals - M83 - Miike Snow - Half of Radiohead/Half of Major Lazer made for an incredible night of music. I've been to Lolla the past 3 years and so far Friday 2016 tops everything I've seen so far. Honorable mention to The Strumbellas on that Saturday. I saw them twice this summer and they really killed it at Lolla.
And as much as I dislike Nicole, I'll always defend her too even though I was pulling hard for Paul. The jury decides the winner under criteria that they choose, and more people believed that Nicole deserved the win over Paul. At the very least Victor won AFP (even though I was pulling for Bridgette) and I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing Paul again.

Sounds like everyone has had great moments in 2016. Hopefully, 2017 will be just as great!

So I'm bored and want to talk about Big Brother.
What do yall think is the greatest move in BB history?
Has to be Dan's funeral for me. He was dead to rights and not only saved himself but saved Danielle as well. Just amazing.

Bryson, I definitely think that move ranks up there. Sadly, I always can think of "worst moves" that stick out more than great moves. Like when Marcellas didn't use the Veto or Matt used the Diamond Power of Veto to get rid of Kathy instead of someone like Hayden, a bigger threat in the game.
I think I'd agree that Dan's funeral would be my favorite because it was one of the most shocking change of events. Others for me would be:
1. When Mike convinced Erica to get rid of Danielle in BB All Stars.
2. When Michael, Drew, and Diane teamed up against Karen and Nakomis in BB5. It was the first time nominees threw the Veto Competition so a houseguest that wasn't nominated would win, take a Nominee off, and then the only other player that could go up was the fifth houseguest. To me, it was smart strategy.
Those are my thoughts.

Nakomis' five finger plan was genius at the time but now it looks tame. I still think it could be the best move of all time and certainly an underrated move.

Nakomis's plan only looks tame now because of that fact that it became such a staple in modern BB strategy. I would probably list that as my top move because it revolutionized the entire game and was probably the main reason Veto drawings became randomized instead of chosen.

I would bet that is why the veto players are randomly chosen now. I think it is better to do random otherwise we would have Six-finger plan (I think I said 5 before. oops) every week. Other smart but underrate moves include:
Nicole getting rid of Big Meesh in BB18 instead of larger, more threatening targets
Vanessa and Shelli keeping Liz in the game to get the extra number when Julia came in instead of just getting rid of Liz and get rid of Julia as well.
Aaryn essentially giving up her HOH to Helen in exchange for evicting Kaitlin.
Allison slyly using Nathan to veto her.
I also think Eric in BB8 manipulating events as America's Player was good even though it cost him the game and handed it to Dick. It could not have been easy to convince everyone to keep Dick all those times.

Anyone here keeping up with Survivor this season? I've been enjoying this season so far, despite some naysayers I come across on the Internet. I had Taylor as my pre season winner, but I'm really high on the Michaela train right now. I'm rooting for David too in a weird, funny way.

I was not a fan of this season of Survivor at first, but I am liking it now. My favorite so far is BLOOD but I like David and Michaela also. I would like to see some more of the Millennials because right now I feel like they all blur together.
