Chen Competition #3 - November Surprise!
As you all are aware, I am sure, Tuesday is Election Day (finally) in the USA. I will be a nervous wreck until then. But you guys shouldn't panic and instead compete in this Winner-Take-All competition. The winner gets 100 Chens. Here is how it works: You need to map out an election map and the person who is closes to the actual electoral vote wins the competition. You must have the correct presidential winner, no matter how close you are. There are many different sights for you to use - 270towin for instance is a popular one. You must submit your map before the first polls close in Indiana and Kentucky at 6 pm EST on Tuesday. You can send a screenshot of the map to either me, Brett or in your DR.

HOH #3
Welcome to the HOH Competition!
Today you will be competing in a competition called Online Scavenger Hunt. Below is a list of eleven items you must search for on the internet.
The goal of this competition is to search the internet for the cheapest selling price you can find for each item. You CANNOT use auction websites such as ebay to search for these items. You also cannot use a link to the item in bulk—it must be the singular item.
Once you are satisfied with an item and think you have found the cheapest price for that item, save the link and move on to the next item. MAKE SURE YOU SEND ME A WORKING LINK!
ALL prices must be in American currency.
The individual who has the lowest COMBINED total price for all eleven items wins HOH.
**If a broken link is sent to me I will give you ONE CHANCE to fix it. If after one opportunity to correct you still have a broken link(s), then you will be given a penalty for that item(s). You will be given the highest amount for that item out of all contestant entries PLUS an additional 10%. So make sure to double and triple check your links!**
You will have 24 hours to complete this competition. In the unlikely event of a tie, there will be a tie-breaker which I will explain at the time if needed.

1. 12 Foot Pre-lit Christmas Tree
2. Single ticket to an NFL/NHL/NBA game (Pick one of the three)
3. Outdoor Fire-pit
4. 16 ounce coffee mug with a funny saying on it
5. Wireless Bluetooth speaker
6. 14k diamond ring
7. Golf cart
8. Bottle of wine from between years of 1990-1999
9. Size 8.5 pair of women’s running shoes
10. Chewbacca costume
11. T-Shirt with a WWE Superstar on it
EDIT: Results will NOT be posted obviously because of the twist. So you will be sent a message if you won HOH and I will post on the forum to let everyone know once I have announced to the person they have won.

Amanda, once we send in our answers, are all answers final? Like, say we send in our answers two hours from now, then tomorrow we find something different. Is it against the rules to update your answers after they are sent in?

Once they are sent to me the only reason you get an opportunity to fix or possibly change them is if a link is broken and then you get the one opportunity.  |

I may not have the time to get this done as I have a double shift tomorrow (Going to be going back into work at 12 and working all the way through to 8am on Tuesday!) So if I'm not around much, just know it's because of that. Good luck everyone!

So how does everyone think they did in the HoH challenge.
I think I did ok but I think the cost of some of my items were too high and they will probably stuff me up.

I don't think I did well. For most of them everything I found was at the exact same price and I couldn't really find much that was super cheap. I probably got last, haha.

I'm not much of a shopper, in real life. Some of these items were very hard to even track down. I've never bought sports tickets in my life and the 14K ring was super hard.
Amanda, were you planning on revealing the winner's grand total? Obviously you can't reveal the winner, but were you going to announce the winning score?
