1. I think it is timing is what makes or breaks your game. Sometimes you know the move that needs to be made but if you make the move too early you risk yourself becoming the target of someone else. If you wait too long to make the move, you risk your target making a move to evict you.
2. One of the things that shocked me was Gabe winning the competition. It was a hard comp and he just didn't seem like someone that could pull it out, I guess I was wrong.
3. I think I have a decent social game. I join in the casual conversation around the house and people like me.
4. I like Big Brother because it is an unpredictable game. One minute someone can be the most powerful player in the house and the next minute they could be walking out the door. Anything can happen and anything will.
5. I think it could be something like a Redemption Island or a Battle Back. It makes sense as we have two players on the outside who could be ready to dual.
I was shocked to be nominated by Van. I have been nice and talkative to him and in these early weeks, that is all you need to do. However this may be good for me and my game. I want to be perceived as a nice person who doesn't have much skill for the game. So I put on my sad face and act weak to further show that weak angle I am trying to play up for myself.
While I had a decent feeling that I would be safe. With some people, (namely Christian) I just had a little casual talk with to build a friendship with them. The aim of this being to build an emotional bond with them to make it harder emotionally for them to evict me.
I also had a little chat with Gabe about working together to get Van out. I want to build a bond with him based on a mutual desire for revenge. A bond build I upon a mutual goal is perhaps the strongest bond there is, as you can much more easily trust each other as long as your eyes are on the same prize and you need each other to get that prize.
After the Eviction, I went to Van to basically say that him nom'ing me is water under a bridge and that I have no hard feelings. Of course, he is my first target should I get into power. However, given the unpredictability of this game, I need to build a bond with him, in the event that he ends up in power again or if I need him/his vote in a potential upcoming plan. You should always try to have a working relationship with someone until they are actually out of the game.
